an update

this week felt so long while i was in it, and now it feels like it has just flown by.  among the tasks i hoped to get done this week was the writing of a 2-page prospectus toward my dissertation proposal.  i have about two pages written, but they are in serious need of revision.  i've got a lot of thinking to do on this tonight, as i hope to email the prospectus to my advisor early in the weekend so she has enough time to take a look at it prior to our meeting on wednesday.

for my advanced qual methods class, i met with my group (of two other people) re: a presentation we'll be giving to the class in three weeks.  it was really great to meet so far in advance with two other people who are equally enthusiastic about giving a good presentation that we feel will be really helpful to our classmates.  we already have a great plan, but now we need to build in some of the details.  i'm definitely looking forward to it.

in terms of health, i'm once again a step or two closer to figuring out whatever it is that i have.  i had a capsule endoscopy test today and i'll have the results back in a week or two.  so, there's that to look forward to.
